Hi! I'm Lisa and I am an illustrator and surface pattern designer from Florida! 

I have a BFA in Graphic Design and began my career in advertising and catalog layout. It was at one of these early jobs that I was asked to fill in while one of the in-house illustrators was away and realized that I wanted to shift gears a bit and pursue a career in illustration. After working for several years as an illustrator and creative director in the gift and home decor industries, I decided to venture out on my own and created Lisa Kubenez Illustration & Surface Design, specializing in happy, whimsical illustrations and surface patterns. I've had the pleasure of working with many amazing clients including Robert Kaufman, Design House Greetings, Gemmy Industries, Douglas Toys, Papyrus, Calypso Cards, Sock It To Me and Trader Joe's.
